As most of you might be aware of the big businesses like Uber (car rentals service without owning a car) Airbnb(rent a space service without owning a property), In F&B business in India i recently came across zomato, swiggy(they have a slightly different business model in which they invest in set up kitchens of various restaurants in single premise at different locations in the city and when an order is placed the delivery will be from the nearest location).
In travel industry you might already have witnessed by not going to a travel agent or company to find out or plan for your vacations. All you do now is use search engines to find cheapest airlines on the given dates and you get to see the results almost instantly at your finger tips.
All these are possible today because of internet and use of mobility devices largely.
Recently i have joined a new company and part of my job scope is to evaluate various software applications from different vendors. I just realised how difficult it is for companies to employ more sales staff as there would not be so many engagements to keep them 100% occupied and on the other hand sales staff are given unrealistic targets to achieve with less salary and more commission basis. So are you thinking what i am thinking 😃. Well if you see this as a problem then how to convert it into opportunity? Think Think………………………. harder. After a hard thinking, i got an idea where i could create a platform for all sales professionals to register their skills and then work for themselves effortlessely simply by accepting the published work orders by bidding to qualify based on experience and ratings from customer. This way companies looking for sales professionals need to publish their requirement through aggregator platform and pay them for every engagement and do not have to employ sales staff.
Definetly there are lot of more such business models one can think of. Do give a thought for yourself and list down opportunities which are available for you to become a successful entrepreneur.
